Capture
Sport- Zone moved to leading edge Medium Format Digital Capture
in 2007. Phase One, a Danish company supply the Digital Capture sensor. In 2009
the sensor has been upgraded from the P20 to the 39MP P45+.The sensor is attached to a
Hasselblad H camera for most work or
to a Linhof 679 technical camera for architectural studies.
Printing
Epson Ultrachrome K3 inksets are used on both a 17" Epson 4800
for Fine Art reproduction or 44" Epson 9800 for Business and Educational
Graphics.All controlled by Imageprint, a software RIP
provided by Colorbyte.
This allows exceptional accuracy and colour consistency with
superb longevity.
The exceptional Hahnemuhle papers are used for printing,
Baryta and Fine Art Pearl being the most frequent. For banner and lightbox
graphics Fuji material is used.
Materials and Presentation
The acquisition this year of a 54" press produced by
Drytac now allows us to mount graphics on a large variety of substrates.
